Design requirements for bag spacing in bag dust collectors

The bag is the core component of the bag dust collector. The design of the bag includes parameters such as material selection, dust cleaning method, and bag arrangement. Among them, the distance between bags is one of the key parameters in the design of bag dust collector. The uniformity of air flow distribution and dust cleaning effect usually need to be considered.

1.Minimum bag spacing:

In order to ensure the normal operation of bag installation, maintenance and dust cleaning operations, and to avoid mutual friction and collision between bags, the spacing between bags should meet the minimum spacing requirements. In general, the minimum spacing of circular bags should not be less than 1 times the diameter of the bag; for special-shaped bags, the minimum spacing should be determined based on their overall dimensions and actual installation conditions, but sufficient space should be ensured between the bags for cleaning and to prevent dust clogging.

2.Recommended bag spacing:

Taking into account the above factors, under general working conditions, the recommended spacing for circular bags is 1.5 -2.5 times the diameter of the bag. For dust collectors that handle large air volumes, complex dust characteristics, or use efficient dust cleaning methods, the bag spacing can be appropriately increased to 2-3 times the bag diameter.

3.The influence of bag arrangement on spacing

Arrangement in rows and columns: When bags are arranged in rows and rows, the row spacing and column spacing should be consistent or appropriately adjusted according to the airflow distribution. Under normal circumstances, the spacing between rows and rows can be designed according to the recommended bag spacing to ensure that the airflow passes through each row of bags evenly in the dust collector.

Staggered arrangement: Staggered arrangement can make the air flow form a more complex flow path between the bags, which is beneficial to improving dust removal efficiency. In a staggered arrangement, the center distance between two adjacent rows of bags should meet certain requirements. Generally, the center distance between the front row of bags and the back row of bags is 1.2-1.8 times the diameter of the bag. The specific value should be optimized according to the dust characteristics and cleaning method.
