                                                  Applicable scenarios of cartridge filter

The installation form of the filter cartridge can be designed according to different structures, usually divided into: top-mounted, bottom-mounted, and side-mounted. The new pulse pleated long filter cartridge is often installed vertically, which is conducive to the design of the blowing method and suitable for places with high dust concentration, achieving better dust removal effect. 二、Working principle of cartridge filter

After the dust-laden gas enters the ash hopper of the dust collector, due to the sudden expansion of the gas flow cross-section and the action of the gas distribution plate, some coarse particles in the gas flow settle in the ash hopper under the action of momentum and inertia. Dust particles with fine particle size and low density enter the filter chamber, where they are deposited on the surface of the filter material through combined effects such as Brownian diffusion and sieve filtration. The purified gas enters the clean gas chamber and is discharged through the exhaust pipe by the fan.

During this process, it is necessary to regularly replace and clean the filter cartridge to ensure the filtering effect and accuracy. This is because during the filtering process, apart from being blocked, some dust will also deposit on the surface of the filter material, increasing resistance. Therefore, the general correct replacement time is three to five months.

3、The dust removal process of the filter cartridge dust collector

(1)Dust collection stage.

Essentially, this is the stage where dust accumulates on the surface of the filter cylinder. The dust in the exhaust gas enters the dust removal space of the dust collector due to negative pressure. Some of the dust sinks to the ash hopper during the gas flow process due to its own gravity, while the other part accumulates on the surface of the filter cylinder to form a filter cake. The gas is purified through the dual filtration effect of the filter cylinder and the filter cake, and the clean gas is discharged through the outside of the filter cylinder.

  • Equipment dust removal stage. When the filter cake accumulates to a certain thickness or the filtration process reaches a certain duration, pulse back-blowing will remove the filter cake from the filter cylinder, completing the regeneration of the filter cylinder.
