Application of bag-type dust collector in casting industry

In the foundry industry, the intermediate frequency furnace, as the key equipment for metal smelting, will inevitably produce a large amount of dust during the operation process, and the main links to produce dust: first, when the intermediate frequency furnace is smelting metal, the impurities in raw materials (such as scrap steel and pig iron), fuel (such as coke) combustion and metal oxidation will produce a large amount of dust; Secondly, in the casting process, when the high-temperature metal liquid contacts with the mould, volatiles and dust will be generated; Third, dust will escape during slag cleaning.

Due to wide application range and high dedusting efficiency, bag-type dust collector is widely used in foundry. Dust will first pass through the pre-treatment unit to remove large particles of dust and sparks from the gas and prevent damage to the filter elements. Then, the dust-containing gas enters the filter chamber, the dust is retained on the surface of the filter bag through the filtration of the filter bag (or filter cartridge), and the purified gas enters the clean gas chamber through the filter bag and finally is discharged by the fan. From the actual application effect, the dust removal efficiency of the intermediate frequency furnace dust collector in the foundry can reach above 99.5%, and the emission concentration limit of particulate matter is 10mg/m³.
